Heartbeat Journey 2026: When nearly 400 VNEXT-ers lit up Ha Long Bay

This August, VNEXT took over Ha Long for three unforgettable days. Heartbeat Journey 2026, our annual summer trip, gathered nearly 400 VNEXT-ers from every team and every office in one place, all beating to the same rhythm. Everyone showed up with a different story, yet for three days they shared the same coastline and the same easy sense of “belonging”. The spirit of the trip was there from the very first minute “One person can sprint, but a whole team can go the distance.”

One Beat One Team - The sports event that set the tone

Our team kicked things off with a sports tournament - One Beat One Team, and there was very little standing around. As soon as the games began, everyone was fully immersed. The day was never truly about identifying the strongest squad, yet bringing together colleagues who rarely cross paths in their daily work, giving them a shared goal, and letting a single, unifying rhythm take hold across the field.

That is what gave the day its meaning, far more than any scoreline. Colleagues who had spent most of the year in separate teams suddenly found one shared goal to pursue, and the connection between them was clear to see. When the last game finished, the day rolled into an awards gala where each trophy found its winning team. For many VNEXT-ers, it was the first time competing shoulder to shoulder with colleagues they usually meet only through a screen. And each award represented not only victory but also the creativity, solidarity and commitment that VNEXTers bring to everything they do. 

Beat in the Bay - A Gala dinner under the Ha Long sky

The following night, the trip shifted into a different mood with Beat in the Bay, a gala held aboard the Ambassador Cruise, one of the finest ships sailing Ha Long Bay. Surrounded by shimmering water and glowing lights, it became a night of pure energy and moments no one will forget.

The evening featured live performances by singer Yanbi and rapper Mr.T, remembered as one of the highlights of the whole trip. Familiar beats, an electric performance, and hundreds of VNEXTers singing together turned Beat in the Bay into the kind of night people replay in their heads for weeks.
